The National Asthma Council Australia (NAC) is pleased to welcome Ms Adele Berry to the Australian Asthma Handbook Guidelines Committee.
Adele is a registered nurse and endorsed nurse practitioner, specialising in paediatric asthma. She has post graduate qualifications in paediatrics and health professional education and a Master of Advanced Nursing Practice. Adele has experience across the emergency, acute, outpatient, community, and primary health settings and extensive experience in both asthma and nursing education.
Adele is currently working in a complex asthma outpatient clinic, which includes the use of biological agents to improve outcomes for children with severe asthma. We look forward to Adele’s expertise and guidance on our multidisciplinary Guidelines Committee.
About the Australian Asthma Handbook Guidelines Committee
The Guidelines Committee oversees development of the NAC's Australian Asthma Handbook, Australia's national guidelines for asthma management.
First published in 1989 and now in its 13th edition, the Australian Asthma Handbook continues to set the standard for evidence-based, practical advice for asthma management in primary care.
The Guidelines Committee is a small, multidisciplinary group chaired by a general practitioner.
